Description
As part of the MoneySmart Week, sponsored by the Federal Reserve of Chicago, an informative lecture on the social and psychological aspects of conspicuous and vicarious consumption. Based on the Theory of the Leisure Class by Thorstein Veblen, the underlying economic rationale will be discussed.
