The Croatian Fraternal Union of Canton invite you to their Cultural Music Event at the Canton Illinois VFW Thursday, September 15th located at VFW post 1984, 1200 S 5th avenue, Canton Illinois. This one of a kind, family friendly event celebrates the Croatian heritage of those living in central Illinois, while offering a unique look at the music,dancing, and food that Croatia is known for. Doors open at 3 PM, performance and dinner will follow. This show is sure to impress with entertainment provided by the Tamburaśki Sastav group, Ravnica, who return to the Canton lodge.

The event doors open at 3 Pm, with dinner service from 4-6 Pm before the main musical event taking place at 5 Pm, ending at 8PM. This ticketed event has a cost of $5 dollars for the concert, $10 for dinner, or $15 for both. The dinner service consists of traditional dishes such as Sarma (cabbage rolls), while including other foods such as barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs, German potato salad, and a variety of desserts. It will be a truly memorable experience that will provide those who attend a look at the strong, Croatian community that has resided in Illinois since the early 20th century, while allowing a traditional musical experience sure to make your evening memorable.
