DESCRIPTION:2019 Upper Great Lakes Regional Figure Skating Championships The 2019 Upper Great Lakes Regional Figure Skating Championships will be held at the Peoria Civic Center on October 3-7\, 2018 hosted by the Heart of Illinois Skating Club. The top four skaters at the Juvenile through Senior levels qualify to compete in November at the Midwestern Sectional Championship where the top four skaters at each level advance to the 2019 U.S. Figure Skating National Championships. Typically\, entrants number over 600 skaters. In addition\, the number of spectators attending regional events over the entire competition weekend is over 4\,000. We invite you to show your support for your local skaters and the Heart of Illinois Skating Club.
