DESCRIPTION:Not looking forward to the long lines at the malls and box stores.  Do you want to experience a bit of Old World Culture right here in central Illinois?  Then join us for our 5th annual Kristkindlmarkt hosted by the Harmonie-Concordia Singers of the Peoria German-American Society.   The event will be held at in Peoria at The Lindenhof\, 7601 N. Harker Drive\, Peoria\, Illinois 61615\, (just off of Pioneer Parkway near Enterprise Car Rental).\n\n \n\nDates for the event:  \n\n \n\nSaturday\, November 29th\, 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday\, November 30th\, 11 am to 5 pm\n\n \n\nSaturday\, December 13th\, 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday\, December 14th\, 11 am to 5 pm\n\n \n\nOver 25 area vendors each weekend will be offering a variety of arts and crafts that are perfect for Holiday gift giving as well as baked goods..  A number of imported items from Germany and Austria available\, including smokers.  Vendors will be both indoors and outdoors.\n\n \n\nNovember 29th is also "Small Business Saturday\," which is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses.  \n\n \n\nLive entertainment daily.  Food and beverages\, typical of the Kristkindlmarkts will also be available for purchase:  bratwurst\, weinerschnitzel\, homemade strudel\, gl hwein\, hot chocolate\, Bavarian pretzels\, and German beer.\n\n \n\nBring a canned or non-perishable foods for donation to a local food pantry.\n\n \n\nCome and celebrate the Holiday Season with us!  \n\n \n\nFr hliche Weihnachten!
