DESCRIPTION:Area residents are invited to stop by for lunch\, or have it delivered\, at the Annual Alzheimer's Association Cook-Out on Friday\, Sept. 6th\, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.\n\n\n\nA pork chop\, brat\, or chicken sandwich and chips can be purchased for $6. Drinks are available for $1 for walk-ups. Orders of 5 or more can be delivered in the Peoria area. Order forms can be faxed to the Agency at 681-1101. The Chapter office is located at 606 W. Glen Avenue (Glen Plaza behind Walgreens)\, Peoria.\n\n\n\nProceeds from the event will benefit the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's which will be held Oct. 6th at the Peoria Riverfront. The Alzheimer's Association Walk is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care\, support and research programs. The Central Illinois Chapter supports eight walks within its 20 county service area.
