DESCRIPTION:The Grand View Alzheimer's Special Care Center is excited to be working with Dori Bollinger Thompson from the Art Without Boundaries program. Dori recently came to Grand View and painted with three of our residents on an individual basis. It was such an enjoyable experience that Dori agreed to return to share that and her other experiences working with memory-impaired individuals.\n\n\n\nOn Thursday\, September 12\, we will display the paintings made by our Grand View residents. Prints of those paintings can be ordered that evening for $10 each with $7 of those proceeds returning to Grand View for a scholarship for other residents to paint with Dori.\n\n\n\nRefreshments will be served. Please call 309-692-2484 for questions. Tours of Grand View will be available.
