DESCRIPTION:The Peoria Park District presents the second annual Artist & Comic Expo on Saturday\, June 11 from 10 am-6 pm and Sunday\, June 12\, from 11 am-5 pm at the Lakeview Recreation Center\, 1013 W. Lake Avenue\, in Lakeview Park\, Peoria.\n\n\n\nThe event will feature an array of local and regional comic artists and vendors featuring face-painting\, silk screening\, comic art\, gaming\, illustration and animation\, as well as Cosplay\, trivia\, food and FREE parking. There is a kids costume parade on Sunday at 1 pm sponsored by Costco. This event is for kids 12 and under to strut their stuff and show off their superhero wardrobe or unique Cosplay creation.\n\n\n\nThe featured artists include Disney's Philo Barnhart\, Rankin/Bass Historian Rick Goldschmidt\,  Bill and Linda Reinhold\, and Mark Dodson (Return of the Jedi\, Force Awakens\, Gremlins). Weekend passholders will receive a free Lego inspired print by Kiley Beecher.
