DESCRIPTION:0n Sunday\, July 22\, 2018\, the Peoria German-American Society will be hosting a Corn Boil at Hickory Grove Park - Free Admission and Parking.  This is a family friendly event.  \n\n \n\nHickory Grove Park\, 12503 Hickory Grove Rd.\, Dunlap is just north of Peoria.  Take Route 40 North to Hickory Grove Rd.  Turn east and look for additional signs.  \n\n \n\nThe Corn Boil runs from Noon   7 pm.  A $8.00 per person donation includes a pork chop sandwich\, all you can eat sweet corn\, baked beans\, and cole slaw.  \n\n \n\nGerman and domestic beer are available\, along with soft drinks\, and a cash bar.\n\n \n\nPCDjays will be providing music.  Other activities will include:  soccer\, bag toss\, archery\, and bocci ball.  A playground is available for the kids.  \n\n \n\nProceeds for the event will be used to maintain and upgrade the park.
