DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\,September 20th\, 2020\, Sport Verein of the Peoria German American Society will be hosting German Herbst Feiertag picnic at Hickory Grove Park from noon to 8 pm   Free Admission and Parking.  The event is to celebrate the first day of Fall with a German Picnic held in a beautiful tree covered biergarten.  This is a family friendly event. \n\n \n\nHickory Grove Park\, 12403 Hickory Grove Rd.\, Dunlap.  Take Route 40 North to Hickory Grove Rd.  Turn east and look for additional signs.\n\n \n\nEddie Korosa returns to Peoria for an afternoon of outstanding accordion fun for listening or dancing a polka beginning at 12pm.  Asbury Fox will play from 4pm.  Asbury Fox is an indie folk-rock group from Peoria\, IL. Their influences include The Beatles\, Wilco\, Neil Young\, M. Ward\, Bob Dylan\, and Gillian Welch.  Other entertainment will also be provided.  The entertainment begins at 1:00 pm. \n\n \n\nFood to be served includes:  Heidelbugers\, Brats\, Sauerkraut\, Spaetzle\, Applesauce\, and Bavarian Pretzels.\n\n \n\nFood served until 6:00 pm or until we run out.  \n\n \n\nOnly service animals permitted.
