On November 17th\, an F-4 tornado touched down in Central Illinois completely destroying or causing severe structural damage to over 1\,100 homes. As clean-up efforts continue\, the emotional and physical challenges of recovery are evident.\n\n \n\n"We are looking forward to the Blackhawks and Blues Alumni game at Carver Arena. Central Illinois has been overwhelmed by the support we have received from all over since November 17th. This game will give us a chance to watch the players that we all grew up with. The City of Washington would like to thank these players for their effort and support\," said Washington Mayor Gary Manier.\n\n \n\n"The Chicago Blackhawk Alumni Association is proud to participate in a charity hockey game with the St. Louis Blues alumni on January 15th.
