SUMMARY:"Kourage Kids" Annual Grief Camp for Kids
DESCRIPTION:UnityPoint Hospice-Peoria is accepting camp registrations for children aged 5-18 who are working through issues of grief following the death of a loved one. "Kourage Kids" is a free one-day outing for young people who have experienced a loss in their life. \n\n\n\nThis year's camp will be held at Camp Manitoumi in rural Lowpoint on Saturday\, October 5\, 2013 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Busses will leave the UnityPoint Health-Methodist Atrium Building (900 Main Street) at 8:00 am and will return to the Atrium by 5 pm. The camp agenda will include games\, face-painting\, crafts\, and sports. Lunch is provided as well as transportation to and from the camp free of charge.\n\n\n\nCoordinated by Frank Valente and Leah Grayer\, pastoral counselors with the Hospice Program\, Kourage Kids is staffed by many UnityPoint Health-Methodist employees and volunteers as well as a number of skilled professionals and volunteers from the Central Illinois area.\n\n\n\nFor additional information and registration\, contact UnityPoint Hospice-Peoria at (309) 672-5746.
