SUMMARY:Let's Talk: Puberty
DESCRIPTION:Let's Talk: Puberty is a program to teach parents\, caregivers\, and their youth how to navigate the changes with puberty. Together\, they will attend an introductory program titled Puberty: Navigating Changes\, where they will learn the general changes that occur during puberty. Adults and youth will then be separated. Adults will attend Let's Talk: Puberty\, where they will learn how to navigate conversations with their youth during this time of change. Youth will attend Growing Up\, Growing Strong\, where they will learn general health education and how to make healthy choices as their bodies grow and develop during adolescence. *This program does NOT include education for youth about the reproductive system changes during puberty. Program is best suited for youth 8-12 years old\, and their parent or caregiver. Adults are welcome to attend the program with or without their youth.
