DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate the Hult Center for Healthy Living growing yet again! \n\n\n\nThe Hult Center for Healthy Living is pleased to announce the merger with Mental Health America of Illinois Valley\, formerly the Mental Health Association\, effective September 1\, 2013.  \n\nThe merger allows the Hult Center for Healthy Living\, a 501(c)(3) leader in community health education to expand its? services to include the ever-growing need for mental health programs. Health education programs\, cancer programs\, senior programs\, and mental health programs are now collectively housed under the Hult Center.  \n\n?The Heart of Illinois United Way and Caterpillar Foundation have applauded our efforts in becoming an even stronger health and education center\,? said Hult Center for Healthy Living?s Executive Director Matt George.  ?The merger fortifies\, and reinforces\, the Hult Center for Healthy Living as the premier community leader for health education programs and services.?\n\nThe Hult Center will add Mental Health America of Illinois Valley?s annual Whitney?s Walk and Hearts of Hope Art Auction to their annual fundraisers\, which include the Spirit of Living Dinner\, Lobster Boil\, and Uncorked.  \n\n \n\n* * *\n\nThe Hult Center for Healthy Living was established through the merger of two organizations\, the Hult Center for Health Education and the Cancer Center for Healthy Living in 2011.  The merger came about as a means of strengthening both community-based not-for-profit organizations that shared similar missions.
