SUMMARY:Volksfest at Hickory Grove Park
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, July 2nd the Peoria German-American Society will be hosting their annual Volksfest at Hickory Grove Park from noon to 8 pm -  Free Admission and Parking.  This is a family friendly event.\n\n \n\nEntertainment by:  Ratskeller Brummers\, Lindenhof Echoes\, Peoria Volkst nzer\, and Grammy Nominee\, Eddie Korosa from Chicago..\n\n \n\nA Classic Car and Motorcycle Cruis'n runs from noon to 5:00 pm\, featuring cars\, trucks & motorcycles made prior to 1990.  Both domestic and import vehicles can participate.  Entry is free.  The driver or rider will receive a pass good for one beverage or sandwich if they arrive before 2pm.\n\n \n\nWe will also be hosting a Fine Arts and Craft Village featuring a variety of handmade items from local handicrafters.  Contact Jeff Pulfer at 309-444-4656 for more details about becoming a vendor or e-mail:  Jeff.Pulfer44444@gmail.com.\n\n \n\nOther activities will include:  soccer\, folks dancing\, 50/50 raffle\, and a shooting tent.  Air gun shooters have the opportunity to earn prizes.  A Kinder Park is available for the kids.  \n\n \n\nGerman and domestic beer are available\, along with soft drinks and a cash bar.  Full dinners available along with a sandwich line.

LOCATION:Hickory Grove Park\, 12403 Hickory Grove Rd.\, Dunlap is just north of Peoria. Take Route 40 (old Rt 88) North to Hickory Grove Rd. Turn east and look for additional signs.
