Save the dates for our 2014 LEAP (Leaders Emerging to Advance Peoria) Academy! LEAP will kick off on Wednesday, October 1 and will run for six weeks ending on Wednesday, November 5, with one session each week held during the lunch hour. This year's line-up of interesting and engaging topics and speakers represents successful, yet sometimes overlooked organizations/individuals in the community.
This year's topics include:
- Running Central: Envisioning a Lifestyle
- Quest Charter Academy: Re-imagining Public Education in Peoria
- SALT/Sugar/Cracked Pepper: Designing a Food Scene & Etiquette Lunch
- Preston Jackson: A Voice of the Arts Community
- Carl Cannon: Transforming Our Youth to Build an ELITE Community
- Kid Knits/StartUp Peoria/Peoria NEXT Innovation Center: Planting a Seed for Entrepreneurs
