Description
Experience a bit of Old World Christmas Magic at the 6th Annual Kristkindlmarkt at The Lindenhof, 7601 N. Harker Drive, Peoria, Illinois 61615, (just off of Pioneer Parkway near Enterprise Car Rental). The event is sponsored by the Harmonie-Concordia Singers of the Peoria German-American Society. Admission is free.
Dates for the event: Saturday, December 12th, 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, December 13th, 11 am to 5 pm
Over 25 area vendors each weekend will be offering a variety of arts and crafts that are perfect for Holiday gift giving as well as baked goods.. A number of imported items from Germany and Austria available, including smokers. Vendors will be both indoors and outdoors.
Live entertainment daily. Food and beverages, typical of the Kristkindlmarkts will also be available for purchase: bratwurst, weinerschnitzel, homemade strudel, glühwein, hot chocolate, Bavarian pretzels, and German beer.
Bring a canned or non-perishable foods for donation to a local food pantry.
