We hope you can join us on May 2, at 7:30 p.m. or May 3 at 2:30 p.m., as Dr. Joseph Henry and the Peoria Area Civic Chorale perform A Few of Our Favorite Things at the Performing Arts Center at Illinois Central College in East Peoria. This delightful family-centered concert will feature selections from composers such as Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, John Rutter, and Moses Hogan. There will be a mixture of genres represented such as Spirituals like "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho" and "Oh, What a Beautiful City," American classics like "Home on the Range," and "America the Beautiful," and an abundance of child-friendly Disney Movie selections from Frozen, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, 101 Dalmations, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Pocahontas, and Toy Story. Also featuring the PACC Youth Chorus and a special men's invitational choir, it will be an event you won't want to miss. Meet us at ICC's Performing Arts Center in May as we share our gifts of beautiful music! Tickets are $20 adults, $8 students, $18 groups of 10 or more.
