The Central Illinois Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is bringing an internationally-renowned fundraising expert, Dr. Adrian Sargeant, to Central Illinois for a full day educational session at the Par-A-Dice Hotel on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. About Dr. Adrian Sargeant Dr. Sargent is Chief Executive of The Philanthropy Centre. The first Hartsook Chair in Fundraising at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, Adrian is passionate about achieving massive growth in philanthropy. His work is focused on developing the value that donors get from their giving. He specializes in the new science of philanthropic psychology that is routinely doubling the income for charities that apply it. Adrian has received many awards and honors for his services to the profession and was named to the prestigious Nonprofit Times Power and Influence List in 2010. He received a Civil Society Award for his services and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Institute of Fundraising.
