The Alzheimer’s Association® Central Illinois Chapter will host a Legislative Update on Tuesday, January 21, at 9:00 a.m. at the Chapter office, 606 W. Glen Avenue in Peoria, Ill.
Judy Buchanan, Lobbyist for the Illinois Chapter Network will provide both a Federal and Illinois priority update, and Larry Lindahl, MD, OSF will provide an Alzheimer’s research update. It is estimated that 10 million baby boomers can expect to develop Alzheimer’s disease in their remaining lifetime, and there will also be important community preparedness and safety services information from Lt. Mark Molleck of the Peoria County Sheriff’s Department.
