Join acclaimed cellist Joshua Roman for "Immunity," an intimate evening of music and storytelling at Café Santa Rosa in Peoria Heights. Roman shares his life-changing journey through long COVID, performing works from J.S. Bach to his own compositions, reflecting on resilience, renewal, and the power of music. Infectious disease expert Dr. Douglas Kasper joins the conversation, offering insight into COVID’s impact. The evening begins with drinks and hors d’oeuvres at 5:30 PM, followed by the program and Q&A at 6 PM, with a healthful Mediterranean dinner served afterward.
