Bradley University Theatre Presents "Our Country's Good"

Description

1789. Transported for life to the brutal penal colony of Australia, a motley group of thieves, prostitutes and murderers, led by an idealistic young Royal Marine, attempt to mount a production of Faquhar's comedy, The Recruiting Officer. Based on a true story, and adapted from Thomas Keneally's celebrated novel, The Playmaker, this acclaimed ensemble play offers a powerful testament to the founding of a nation and the redemptive power of art.

Ticket Prices are $14 for adults, $12 for faculty, staff and seniors and $5 for students.  Tickets can be purchased at the Cultural Events Box Office located in the Hartmann Center or by calling (309)677-2650.  Reservation requests can be made online by visiting Bradley University Theaters' website at http://theatre.bradley.edu. Group Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.
