The Center for Prevention of Abuse is hosting a party at Kelleher’s Irish Pub & Eatery to kick off its 31st Annual Duck Race, which raises funds to provide free and confidential services to help all women, men, and children live free from violence and abuse in Central Illinois. Ducks are available for adoption beginning at the kickoff party.
Kelleher’s will close down a block of Water Street for the duration of the outdoor event. The event will feature an appearance and photo opportunity with the Duck Race mascot, music from Mix 106.9, Duck Race and CFPA merchandise for sale, snacks, and drinks available for purchase.
