$5pp band cover, under 12 free. Bring a lawn chair to enjoy lawn seating or call to reserve seating for an additional $5 pp. You may bring your own foods just no beverages of any kind. Wine tasting and wine, beer, sodas, pizzas, cheese & crackers and chocolates for sale

Champaign Freight is a classic rock and pop band out of Champaign. If you’ve joined us on holiday Mondays you have heard their acoustic sound on the patio but it is time to welcome the band for their first Saturday concert in the vineyard.
The band has four talented members; Rich ‘Goose’ Geese, Ashley Ireland, Matt Stewart and Jamie Ryan. Rich and vocalist Ashley formed the band and brought in Matt and Jamie for the ‘Yacht Rock’ sound crowds love in Central Illinois! Rich started out playing music years ago, playing the drums with The Country Jacks. Then he joined the military, served as an Army Ranger for 12 years, returned home, bought a guitar and taught himself to play. Ashley grew up in Mahomet, singing in church and school choir. Jamie in an Associate Professor of Percussion at EIU who thrives on playing and teaching many types of music. Matt has played in many local bands as well as the progressive rock group Starcastle & nationally known Head East, which was signed to a major label back in the day.
Recently the band played at the Illinois State Fair twice in 2018, The Taste of Champaign, Tolono Fun Days, Glassford Days, Champaign Friday Night Lights as well as touring Central Illinois region making this band a hard working and fun loving group that audiences relate to.
