Description
On Sunday, July 23, 2017, the Peoria German-American Society will be hosting a Corn Boil at Hickory Grove Park - Free Admission and Parking. This is a family friendly event.
The Corn Boil runs from Noon – 8 pm. A $8.00 per person donation includes a pork chop sandwich, all you can eat sweet corn, baked beans, and cole slaw.
German and domestic beer are available, along with soft drinks, and a cash bar.
PCDjays will be providing music. Other activities will include: soccer, bag toss, archery, bocci ball, and horseshoes. A playground is available for the kids.
Proceeds for the event will be used to maintain and upgrade the park. For additional information on the Corn Boil contact Mary Dempster at 309-691-3657.
