Diwali Gala

The Indo-American Society of Peoria (IASP) and PJ Dance Academy are coming together to host a Diwali celebration unlike any other! All are welcome and encouraged to join us on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 5-9pm. Diwali is also known as the festival of lights, which celebrates the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and the human ability to overcome obstacles. The evening will be held at Five Points Washington and will begin with a special performance by the wildly popular PJ Dance Academy, followed by a gala Indian dinner. Proceeds from this community event will benefit EP!C whose mission is to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through educational, employment, residential, and clinical supports. EP!C is a light in the community for so many families and we felt compelled to help continue their spark. We appreciate your generous contributions in support of this cultural display and festive experience for the community while giving back to those with cognitive differences.
