The City of Peoria Innovation team is looking at different solutions to wet weather issues. This event will focus on creating co-benefits around green infrastructures, which is the proposed solution to the combines sewer overflow problem that the City must solve. It will include a session open to the public from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The first half of the session will feature two keynote speakers: Chuck Marohn, the founder of Strong Towns, as well as Doug Farr of Farr Associates. The second half of the session will feature experts from across many industries that will provide their expertise to the discussion of how green infrastructure can be used to facilitate many co-benefits across the community.
