10 WWWII, 62 Korean, and 3 Vietnam Peoria area Veterans plan to depart from the General Wayne A. Downing Peoria International Airport (PIA) on June 3rd, 2014 to travel to Washington D.C. to visit the War Memorials erected to honor their service and sacrifices to our Country. WE NEED YOU TO COME TO THE AIRPORT AND GIVE THEM THE WELCOME HOME THEY DESERVE!! The plane is expected to arrive at 9:30 PM. Chairs can be brought if standing is an issue. Wear red,white and blue / make signs THIS IS A SURPRISE!
