Description
Over the past year, the Pediatric Resource Center (PRC) provided medical evaluations and social services to over 800 central Illinois children – a 13% increase above the previous year.
The Harvesting Hope fundraising gala helps PRC ensure its clinics are staffed with specialtrained providers and case coordinators so children receive the services they need. Funds raised also help the PRC provide education to physicians and nurses regarding child abuse and neglect.
The event features heavy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails starting at 6 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by Felix and Fingers dueling pianos from Chicago. Live and silent auctions through GalaBid mobile bidding (https://galabid.com/auction/Hope2017) feature unique and exciting items, including specialty gift baskets, multiple vacation packages, jewelry and much more. All proceeds benefit the PRC medical and case management services for children.
The Pediatric Resource Center (PRC) is a service provider of the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria and affiliated with OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois. Since its inception in 1993, more than 10,000 children from 54 Illinois counties have received medical and social services from the PRC.
