Women in Leadership Conference to Feature Best-selling Author Karel Murray Women in Leadership of Central Illinois (WIL) will present "Leadership...A Balancing Act" on Thursday, June 16 from 11:00 am - 5;00 pm at the Par-A-Dice Hotel in East Peoria. This conference will focus on the skills women need find the balance in their leadership abilities and their professional lives. The event will begin with WIL's annual awards luncheon and feature a keynote address by Motivational Humorist, Communication/Leadership Strategist and Author Karel Murray. Murray engages her audiences with a mix of attitude, perspective, humor and relevant, timely content that inspires accountability for achieving results. She speaks nationally and internationally with a memorable energy and impactful insight about personal accountability through her "nothing but the truth" delivery style. The topic of Murray's address will be the "The Three Cs" of Leadership: Credibility, Commitment, Common Sense?. Breakout sessions will explore topics of team building and collaboration, mentoring and coaching, and finding equilibrium in a rapidly changing world.
