Ron Raines (Tony Award and three-time Emmy Award Nominee), known to millions of Americans as the beguiling, villainous Alan Spaulding on CBS' Guiding Light comes to Peoria Civic Center Theater in LEGENDS OF BROADWAY. Raines joins forces with legendary Broadway Musical Director, Don Pippin (Tony Award, Emmy Award, Drama Desk Award, Gold Record) for a delightfully intimate program featuring some of Broadway's most beloved songs spun together with amusing personal anecdotes and heartfelt tales from a lifetime on Broadway.

Featuring Broadway talents as legendary as the songs they perform, LEGENDS OF BROADWAY showcases Raines' mellifluous, soaring baritone, with maestro Pippin at the piano. Together they bring the great American Musical Theater Songbook to life while offering a unique glimpse into the lives of heralded Broadway veterans. LEGENDS OF BROADWAY features the music of composers who served as their own lyricists including Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Frank Loesser, and Jerry Herman, as well as saluting the music of the great composers who have collaborated with many lyricist partners such as Jerome Kern, George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers, Jules Styne, Kurt Weill, Leonard Bernstein, John Kander, and Alan Menken among others.
