LWVGP is proud to sponsor Redistricting Reform as the Hot Topic on October 17, 2013 at the 225 Restaurant, located in the Mark Twain Hotel at 225 NE Adams St. Guest speaker will be Michael Kolenc, Executive Director of Yes for Independent Maps, along with local League members Cheryl Budzinski and Pat Landes.
The event is open to the public with the presentation scheduled for 12:15 pm. A salad and pizza buffet will be available starting at 11:45 am and costs approximately $10.

This is a wonderful opportuniy to hear why redistricting reform is needed, the process, summary of the proposed constitutional amendment, and practical tips to help put the voters back in charge. The event is an excellent precursor to our GOTP (Get Out The Petitions) drive on October 19.
