Maifest at the Lindenhof

Description

The Peoria German-American Society’s annual Maifest, will be held Sunday, May 7th at the Lindenhof, 7601 N. Harker Drive, Peoria, Illinois, from Noon to 6 pm.  Admission to the event is free. 
 
This year’s Maifest will offer a wide variety of German entertainment.  The traditional dance around the Maipole will be included in the festivities. 
 
Activities for the kids will also be provided.  New this year is a petting zoo beginning at 3:30 pm.  EPIC will be on hand selling plants and vegetables starts.   The Damenchor German Gift Shop will be selling items perfect for Mother’s Day! 
 
Attendees will enjoy German foods, German wines and Maibock beer.
