Peoria County 17th Annual TRIAD Senior Safety Fair

TRIAD is hosting the 17th annual Senior Safety Fair on Tuesday October 1st, 2019 from 9am-1pm at the ITOO Hall at 4909 Farmington Road, Peoria IL. A free lunch will be served and door prizes. This year's event will focus on emergency and disaster preparedness, Chris Yates, Meteorologist from WMBD/WYZZ and Kenneth Blum from Ameren will present on weather disaster preparation. The first 150 attendees will receive a disaster preparedness bag and the TRIAD committee organization members will supple individual items for each kits. Unity Point well mobile will be onsite for blood glucose, cholesterol, and blood pressure screenings. Walgreens pharmacy will provide FLU shots at no cost with individuals Medicare Part B card. A representative from the Peoria County Sheriff Department will discuss safety, fraud and scams affecting seniors in our area.
