The Alzheimer's Association - Central Illinois Chapter will present Protecting What Matters: Personal Care and Safety, a program for caregivers, on Wednesday, Sept. 4th, from 5:30-7:30 pm, at the Chapter office, 606 W. Glen Ave, Peoria.
The program will be presented by Chapter Education Specialist Tim Klobe who will share helpful strategies for assisting with routine personal care activities and simple steps to make the home safe, comfortable and supportive.
Individuals should register at least a day in advance by calling the office toll free at 800-272-3900 or at 309-681-1100. Materials fee is $5 per person. Disease and caregiving information can be found at the agency's website at http://www.alz.org/illinoiscentral/.
