Description
Come check out the stylings of a local Poet & Author, Ahavah Mauré. With Latin influences; performance and reading.
Shelter at the Lighthouse is Ahavah Mauré's second literary offering; revealing one's dual perceptions of a love experienced and reaching to explore beyond the triteness of written expression.
Each poem in this collection is accompanied by a Spanish translation provided by Tomas Cáno Binder.
Ahavah Mauré was born and raised in Ohio. After serving in Peace Corps-Thailand, she recently relocated to Peoria, IL. As a result of relocation, she can be found performing at various open mics but has yet to call one home.
