Strength Based Clinical Approaches in Working with Children, Youth and Adults Impacted by Foster Care, Adoption and Blended Families Presented by: Krista Woods M.S.W., L.C.S.W. Our work with children and families impacted by loss of their families of origin often struggle to make new and healthy connections. This highly interactive workshop focuses on some of the common areas where children need ongoing clinical and practical support and how we enhance the work we already provide, by using their current strengths. Through case scenarios and practical skills, you'll learn how to better help parents and caregivers navigate children's challenges, as well as how to help families with racial and cultural differences.
