Description
The DBE program is a federally mandated program intended to insure non-discriminatory contracting opportunities for small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (USDOT), highway, mass transit, and airport financial assistance programs. The DBE Program, administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), provides minorities, women, and other eligible small businesses an opportunity to participate in highway, mass transit, and airport contracts that are federal AND state funded. Learn what the DBE Certification program is and why you should obtain your DBE certification, along with how to prevent your application from being denied. Post certification supportive services will also be discussed.
