Join us Friday, August 6th, at the Broadway Deli & Lounge in Downtown Peoria, for an evening of comedy featuring local favorites Edgar Sandoval, Greg Batton and headliner, Matthew Smith! Doors open at 6:30 and the show begins at 7:30. The Talent: Matthew Smith - Matty Ice is Peoria’s funniest attorney, an unofficial honor among an auspicious group. Looking at life with a jaded eye, he will have you asking you questions of your self like: Am I ok as a person? Is he married? Why do I now like attorneys so much? Greg Batton- Greg Batton is the co-host of Peoria’s most listened to radio show, The Greg and Dan Show on WMBD. Storytelling is what he does, on the radio and on stage. His stories of family, marriage and life are shared experiences we all recognize but with Greg’s unique and hilarious angle! Edgar Sandoval - Eric, a former local television personality who left that world to enter corporate communications, has made a shtick of “growing up Asian in America” and says that most guys who look like him “are doctors, engineers or ninjas.” He mines his family life as a husband and father of four and soccer coach for fresh material. The Venue: The Broadway Lounge is located on the first floor of the MAXAM Building on Washington St. The Broadway offers a full menu of delicious artisan bread bowl soups and dips, toasted deli sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, pastas, and desserts in addition to a great selection of soft beverages craft beers and cocktails, and coffee drinks from Leaves 'n Beans. Parking available on the street and in lots on either side of the building. Broadway Lounge requires a 2 item minimum purchase per attendee, 1 must be a food item.
