Wheels O' Time Museum OPEN!

Description

Wheels O’ Time Museum, 1710 W. Woodside Dr., Dunlap Il 61525 (Rt. 40 & W. Woodside Dr.) is participating in the Blue Star Program from Memorial Day through Labor Day for the 7^th season.  Any active member of the military and up to five members of their family are our guests. 
        The museum is open on Memorial Day which is on a Monday.  We are usually closed that day of the week.
        A new military vehicle exhibit is at Wheels O’ Time Museum for the 2016 season.  The vehicles are from three different war eras in the military.  This Jeep, M38, was in service from 1949-52.
It replaced an earlier model used in World War II and was used in the Korean War.
        The United States Army Military Utility Tactical Truck  (MUTT/M151) was in service from 1959 -1984. The MUTT at our museum was restored to represent a vehicle assigned to the 101^st Airborne 327^th infantry regiment during a 1968 Vietnam deployment.
        HUMVEE ‘s have been in service from 1984 –present. The one on display was made in 1987 and last used at Ft. Campbell KY.
       A military artifact display from World War II and the Korean War is also in one area of the museum.

Admission  $7 for adults and $3.50 ages 3-11
