Matinee at the Movies will be performed on Sunday, January 19, 2014, 3:00 pm at the Peoria Civic Center. The concert will feature favorite movie music from superhero classics to great romances. Maestro George Stelluto has chosen music from Gone with the Wind, Sound of Music, Star Wars, Star Trek, Batman, Superman, Spiderman, and much more!
The afternoon begins at 2 p.m. in the lobby of the Peoria Civic Center with pre-concert activities sponsored by Children’s Hospital of Illinois. Special superhero guests will be available for photos along with professional face painting, coloring stations and free popcorn. All children attending are encouraged to wear their favorite costume and participate in the costume parade and contest.
