About Us

Eastern Illinois Foodbank is a nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger by providing food to people facing food insecurity across 21 counties in east-central Illinois, including Peoria County. Through a network of partner agencies—such as food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters—the Foodbank distributes 13 millions pounds of food each year. By sourcing and distributing nutritious food, Eastern Illinois Foodbank plays a critical role in addressing food insecurity and supporting the health and well-being of communities throughout the region.
