"Shrek the Musical" directed and choreographed by Gillian Cramer is CCT's upcoming summer production. Show times are July 9-12 at 7 p.m. and July 12 and 13 at 1 p.m. Performances will take place at Peoria Players Theatre. Music is by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics are by David Lindsay-Abaire. "Shrek the Musical" is a fun-filled, heartwarming stage adaptation of the hit DreamWorks animated film. This hilarious and exciting show follows Shrek, a grumpy but lovable ogre, as he embarks on a quest to rescue Princess Fiona?only to discover that true love and friendship come in the most unexpected forms. With a cast of quirky fairytale characters, catchy songs, and plenty of laughs, "Shrek the Musical" is a fantastic show for performers of all ages. Questions?
