Wintterfest at the Lindenhof

Description

Winterfest, German-style returns to the Lindenhof on Sunday, January 29^th, noon to 6 pm.  The Lindenhof, 7601 N. Harker Drive, Peoria, Illinois 61615.  Phone (309) 691-7484.  The event is being sponsored by Harmonie.
 
We are offering a special German buffet for $12.00 per person.  Kids 9 and under who wear a costume from the Disney movie “Frozen” will get to eat for free.  All kids 12 and under without a costume can enjoy the buffet for $6.
 
The buffet will consist of Schnitzel vom Schwein, parmesan chicken, bratwurst, Bavarian baked chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, spaetzle, sauerkraut, and red cabbage.  Apple strudel or apple cake for dessert is $2 extra.  Host chocolate and coffee is included in the buffet price.
 
The Peoria Accordion Club will perform from 1-4 pm.
 
Enjoy a nice hot mug of glühwein (hot spiced wine).  Special offer: bring your glühwein mug from any of our past Kristkindlmarkts and get the mug filled for only $3! 
 
At Winterfest we will be serving several bock and doppelbock beers besides our regular selections.
 
The Lindenhof features a full bar with three German beers on draft, a selection of German wines, and German liqueurs.  Bock and doppelbock beers were also be available at this event.
